Webkorps partnered with PayPal to enhance key features of its payment processing platform, focusing on user experience improvements and streamlined transaction processes. The project aimed to integrate advanced functionalities that would support seamless online and mobile payments while maintaining industry-standard security and compliance. Notable enhancements included customizable payment forms, an optimized checkout process, and the implementation of robust analytics tools. Webkorps specifically collaborated with PayPal’s Unbranded Checkout Card (UCC) team to enhance credit and debit card payment capabilities.

Custom Payment Forms

Developed advanced credit and debit card payment forms that allowed merchants to customize fields and align with their branding, thereby enhancing the checkout experience.

Streamlined Checkout Process

Optimized the checkout flow by integrating PayPal’s branded checkout with customized card fields, enabling quicker transaction completion.

Analytics Dashboard

Set up a new analytical system in Splunk, leveraging Kibana filters, to provide merchants with valuable insights into sales performance, customer behavior, and transaction trends. Additionally, Webkorps facilitated the migration of these dashboards from Splunk to Datadog, ensuring seamless monitoring and continuity.

Enhanced Security Features

Integrated PayPal’s RAAS (Risk Assessment Service) to bolster transaction security. Webkorps developed user-defined filters that allowed merchants to set custom risk rules, such as mandating 3D Secure (3DS) authentication for high-value transactions and setting country-specific transaction limits.

Real-Time Notifications

Implemented real-time notifications to alert merchants of any abnormal activities. For instance, alerts were set up to notify merchants if the threshold value of a particular component or API dropped below 20%
